Or on sait que les pics de glyc\u00e9mie sont li\u00e9s au d\u00e9veloppement de maladies cardio-vasculaires et de diab\u00e8te.<br>L\u2018\u00e9tude publi\u00e9e ce mois-ci dans Medicine &amp; Science in Sports &amp; Exercise, a v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 leur taux de glyc\u00e9mie tout au long de la journ\u00e9e, \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;appareils de mesure tr\u00e8s pr\u00e9cis, ainsi que le nombre de pas effectu\u00e9s, tout en tenant un journal alimentaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ainsi \u00e9quip\u00e9s, ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 encourag\u00e9s par les chercheurs de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 du Missouri, \u00e0 conserver leurs habitudes pendant 3 jours, qui consistait \u00e0 faire plus de 10.000 pas par jour, ce qui correspondant <strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/entrainement-minute-hit\/\">environ \u00e0 30 mn d&rsquo;activit\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>. Ensuite, on leur a demand\u00e9 de r\u00e9duire de moiti\u00e9 leur activit\u00e9, de fa\u00e7on \u00e0 faire moins de 5000 pas par jour. Ils ont arr\u00eat\u00e9 leur exercice quotidien et ont pris l&rsquo;ascenseur, ont d\u00e9jeun\u00e9 sur place\u2026, ont \u00e9vit\u00e9 tout d\u00e9placement, ce qui a fait tomber leur activit\u00e9 quotidienne \u00e0 3 mn en moyenne.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">#2 Ce qu&rsquo;en dit l&rsquo;\u00e9tude<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Le taux de sucre dans le sang a augment\u00e9 de fa\u00e7on significative apr\u00e8s les repas, durant ces jours de faible activit\u00e9, avec des pics \u00e0 +26% par rapport aux p\u00e9riodes d&rsquo;exercice. Ces changements dans la glyc\u00e9mie sont intervenus tout de suite, selon le Dr Thyfault, avant m\u00eame toute \u00e9volution de la condition physique ou de l&rsquo;accumulation des graisses due \u00e0 la baisse d&rsquo;activit\u00e9.<br>On remarque donc que l&rsquo;arr\u00eat de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 physique est suivie d&rsquo;effets imm\u00e9diats sur la glyc\u00e9mie, puisque les muscles utilisent moins de carburant, en \u00e9tant moins sollicit\u00e9s. Ce n&rsquo;est pas tr\u00e8s grave si l&rsquo;arr\u00eat de l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 n&rsquo;est que temporaire, car la reprise du sport r\u00e9gule ces pics de fa\u00e7on naturelle. Par contre, si l&rsquo;inactivit\u00e9 devient une habitude, il est clair que les maladies chroniques ont plus de chances de s&rsquo;installer, m\u00eame si le poids de la personne ou son r\u00e9gime n&rsquo;est pas critique.<br>Si on est forc\u00e9 de faire un break sportif pour cause de blessure, une des solutions consiste \u00e0 <strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/musculation-augmente-esperance-vie\/\">bouger le plus possible au cours de la journ\u00e9e<\/a><\/strong>, se d\u00e9placer sous tous les pr\u00e9textes possibles, m\u00eame courir
