Si vous visez la force, vos temps de repos devront \u00eatre plus longs que si vous visez le volume. Mais trop de repos tue la progression, il faut donc trouver le compromis id\u00e9al de temps de repos, entre trop et pas assez, pour obtenir des r\u00e9sultats probants.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Pour la force<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><b>Pour la force, reposez vos muscles entre 3 et 5 mn entre les s\u00e9ries.<\/b><br>Ce temps de repos r\u00e9duit la fatigue pr\u00e9matur\u00e9e des muscles tout en maintenant la <strong><a href=\"\/462-performance-sportive\">performance musculaire<\/a><\/strong> pendant toute la dur\u00e9e de l&rsquo;entrainement.<br>Principalement parce la production de force par les muscles, \u00e0 haute intensit\u00e9, est g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9e par des fibres musculaires rapides qui sont d\u00e9pendantes de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie ana\u00e9robie. Par ailleurs, si le temps de repos n&rsquo;est pas suffisamment long, le corps va commencer \u00e0 convertir le glucose en \u00e9nergie via une autre fili\u00e8re ana\u00e9robie (Glycolyse), causant une accumulation d&rsquo;acide lactique, qui va in\u00e9vitablement diminuer la force et la puissance. Une \u00e9tude d\u00e9montre ce fait, examinant l&rsquo;influence de la dur\u00e9e de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration sur la puissance, tout en effectuant des s\u00e9ries multiples de d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 couch\u00e9 \u00e0 haute intensit\u00e9 avec des temps de repos respectivement de 1, 3 ou 5 mn entre les s\u00e9ries. Dans les groupes ayant respect\u00e9 des temps de repos de 3 \u00e0 5 mn, il n&rsquo;y pas eu de perte significative de force musculaire entre les s\u00e9ries et le niveau d&rsquo;acide lactique n&rsquo;a pas augment\u00e9. A l&rsquo;inverse un temps de repos insuffisant (1mn), provoque une baisse de force musculaire ainsi qu&rsquo;une \u00e9l\u00e9vation d&rsquo;acide lactique.
