Elle permet aux athl\u00e8tes de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer leurs performances sportives tr\u00e8s rapidement. Ceci m\u00eame apr\u00e8s une blessure ou apr\u00e8s un arr\u00eat prolong\u00e9 de leur activit\u00e9 sportive. Le m\u00e9canisme est double. Il y a d&rsquo;une part la \u00abm\u00e9moire\u00bb musculaire qui permet de vite retrouver son seuil de performance. D&rsquo;autre part la m\u00e9moire du mouvement stock\u00e9e par le cerveau, qui g\u00e9n\u00e8re des m\u00e9canismes de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration et d\u2019adaptation \u00e0 mettre en \u0153uvre.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Le souvenir des performances <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Plus qu\u2019un simple ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne de m\u00e9morisation,&nbsp;<strong>les muscles vont modifier leur structure. <\/strong>Ceci dans le but de<strong> retrouver leur capacit\u00e9 rapidement<\/strong> m\u00eame apr\u00e8s l\u2019arr\u00eat de leur sollicitation par l\u2019activit\u00e9 sportive. Lorsque le nombre de fibres disponibles est insuffisant, des cellules souches voisines vont \u00eatre recrut\u00e9es. Ces cellules vont recevoir un noyau cod\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tiquement. Elles vont alors remplir la m\u00eame fonction que les cellules musculaires sur-recrut\u00e9es. A condition bien s\u00fbr de pratiquer un entrainement adapt\u00e9 et de bien calculer sa nutrition.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Des b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sant\u00e9 <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est pourquoi, une personne ayant pratiqu\u00e9 une activit\u00e9 sportive intense pendant plusieurs ann\u00e9es conservera les b\u00e9n\u00e9fices sant\u00e9 de l\u2019activit\u00e9 sportive toute sa vie, contrairement \u00e0 une personne non sportive. Par exemple, les sportifs sont moins atteints par les maladies m\u00e9taboliques et cardio vasculaires. Sur le m\u00eame principe, on sait que de nombreuses pathologies sont issues de la r\u00e9duction de la masse musculaire due \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge. Le sportif en sera prot\u00e9g\u00e9 car <strong>sa masse musculaire diminuera beaucoup moins. <\/strong>Car&nbsp;le nombre de cellules musculaires sera sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 celui d\u2019un non sportif.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">La m\u00e9moire de l&rsquo;exercice <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019autre <strong>m\u00e9moire musculaire<\/strong> est celle qu\u2019enregistre le cerveau. En effet la pratique r\u00e9guli\u00e8re d\u2019un sport d\u00e9veloppe l\u2019\u00e9quilibre, la proprioception, les r\u00e9flexes, la cognition. Elle acc\u00e9l\u00e8re \u00e9galement la m\u00e9morisation des processus de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration. Le sportif conservera ces b\u00e9n\u00e9fices toute sa vie et limitera ainsi le processus de vieillissement.
