Vous n&rsquo;en avez jamais assez ? il y a peut-\u00eatre une explication rationnelle \u00e0 cela&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette exp\u00e9rience de bien-\u00eatre et de joie est le fait des endorphines lib\u00e9r\u00e9es par le sport, certes, mais pas seulement. Une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente men\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019University of Montreal Hospital Research Centre (CRCHUM) montre que cette joie est aussi caus\u00e9e par la dopamine, hormone de la motivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">J&rsquo;aime courir, pourquoi ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon St\u00e9phanie Fulton, auteur de l\u2019article publi\u00e9 dans la revue Cell Metabolism, ce serait aussi &nbsp;la leptine qui modulerait cet effet de r\u00e9compense de l\u2019activit\u00e9 d\u2019endurance. Rappelons que la leptine est une hormone dont la production d\u00e9pend du tissu adipeux et permet de <strong><a href=\"\/476-coupe-faim\">contr\u00f4ler la sati\u00e9t\u00e9<\/a><\/strong>. Elle est capable d\u2019acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer ou de limiter l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique en influen\u00e7ant la s\u00e9cr\u00e9tion de dopamine. Elle influence \u00e9galement l\u2019<strong>activit\u00e9 physique<\/strong> par le fait&nbsp; que chaque cellule adipeuse produit de la leptine. Plus nous avons de leptine et moins nous avons envie de manger. Les r\u00e9sultats de cette \u00e9tude montrent \u00e9galement que cette hormone peut donner envie d\u2019aller courir, activit\u00e9 li\u00e9e \u00e0 la recherche de nourriture (chez les souris en tout cas, mais ne sommes-nous pas aussi des animaux&nbsp;?).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En fait, il se trouve que les signaux hormonaux qui d\u00e9clenchent l\u2019alimentation et l\u2019exercice sont li\u00e9s. La capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 la course d\u2019endurance chez les mammif\u00e8res est utile pour augmenter les chances de trouver &nbsp;de la nourriture. La leptine, \u00e0 ce niveau, encouragerait ce comportement b\u00e9n\u00e9fique \u00e0 se bouger pour aller chercher de quoi survivre. Le comportement des souris l\u2019a en tout cas d\u00e9montr\u00e9, celles-ci \u00e9tant capables de courir jusqu\u2019\u00e0 7 km par jour pour d\u00e9nicher de quoi manger. Les souris chez qui on a supprim\u00e9 le signal de la leptine, <strong>courent beaucoup plus<\/strong> et sont beaucoup plus actives que&nbsp; celles qui poss\u00e8dent cette mol\u00e9cule STAT3 (et pensent avoir des r\u00e9serves suffisantes dans leur corps), autant dire que la <strong>\u00ab&nbsp;motivation&nbsp;\u00bb \u00e0 courir<\/strong> se situe exactement l\u00e0, selon Maria Fernanda Fernandes. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"columns-quote is-\">\n  <div class=\"columns-quote__quote\">\n    <blockquote>Il se trouve que les signaux hormonaux qui d\u00e9clenchent l&rsquo;alimentation et l&rsquo;exercice sont li\u00e9s<\/blockquote>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"columns-quote__body\">\n    \n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">\n\nChez l\u2019homme, plus les niveaux de leptine sont faibles, plus la <strong>motivation \u00e0 courir longtemps<\/strong> est grande, cela a \u00e9t\u00e9 v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 chez les coureurs de marathon dont la performance est meilleure. Si on consid\u00e8re que de la souris \u00e0 l\u2019homme il n\u2019y a qu\u2019un pas, la leptine motiverait \u00e9galement \u00e0 aller se d\u00e9penser.
