D\u2019apr\u00e8s des chercheurs de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Missouri-Columbia, l\u2019exercice a\u00e9robique aurait un effet protecteur sur le foie. Le sport augmenterait le m\u00e9tabolisme et permettrait d&rsquo;\u00e9liminer plus vite l\u2019alcool. Les effets secondaires de l\u2019alcool finissent par entrainer des maladies chroniques comme l\u2019insuffisance h\u00e9patique, la cirrhose, le cancer du foie\u2026 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Abus d&rsquo;alcool et foie<\/h2>\n\n\n<div class=\"columns-quote is-\">\n  <div class=\"columns-quote__quote\">\n    <blockquote>Le sport permet de limiter les dommages li\u00e9s \u00e0 l&rsquo;alcool sur notre foie<\/blockquote>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"columns-quote__body\">\n    \n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong> L\u2019abus d\u2019alcool <\/strong>aux USA est responsable de 88.000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s par an, selon le Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. En soumettant des rats expos\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019alcool \u00e0 une hyperactivit\u00e9, on parviendrait \u00e0 <strong>limiter les modifications<\/strong> de structure des prot\u00e9ines qui vont finir par provoquer des dommages. En comparant deux groupes de rats dont l\u2019un expos\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019alcool, pendant 6 semaines ou l\u2019autre non expos\u00e9, mais ayant tous une activit\u00e9 physique \u00e9lev\u00e9e, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 constat\u00e9 que les rats expos\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019alcool malgr\u00e9 un foie gras, s\u2019en sortaient plut\u00f4t bien. Les rats \u00e9taient pr\u00e9-s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s en fonction de leur capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 courir de longues distances sur des tapis roulants pour faire une race de rats coureurs. Ensuite, parmi les rats coureurs, le groupe de rats soumis \u00e0 l\u2019alcool a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9par\u00e9 de l\u2019autre groupe sobre, le but \u00e9tant de mesurer \u00e0 quel point l\u2019augmentation du m\u00e9tabolisme pouvait influencer la protection du foie. Les rats expos\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019alcool avaient certes des d\u00e9p\u00f4ts de gras plus importants dans le foie, (l\u2019un des premiers signes de l\u00e9sions du foie), mais il n\u2019a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9 d\u2019inflammation, ni de taux \u00e9lev\u00e9 de triglyc\u00e9rides et d\u2019acides gras libres, ni de changements significatifs dans le taux d\u2019insuline ou de glucose, annonciateurs de diab\u00e8te. <\/p>\n\n\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Prot\u00e9gez votre foie <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela voudrait dire que <strong>l\u2019activit\u00e9 physique prot\u00e8ge le foie <\/strong>des dommages m\u00e9taboliques qui sont la cons\u00e9quence d\u2019une consommation d\u2019alcool excessive et r\u00e9guli\u00e8re. Attention l\u2019abus d\u2019alcool commence avec quelques verres de trop au quotidien et cette \u00e9tude n\u2019a pas pour but d\u2019excuser les exc\u00e8s, mais cela pourrait donner une piste \u00e0 moyen terme pour le traitement des dommages h\u00e9patiques li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019alcool, m\u00eame si les effets chez l&rsquo;homme restent encore \u00e0 \u00e9tudier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon cette autre \u00e9tude, la consommation d&rsquo;alcool serait plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 chez les personnes qui s\u2019entrainent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ceux qui&nbsp;s\u2019entrainent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement sont aussi plus susceptibles de boire.<strong> Boire et s\u2019entrainer <\/strong>vont de pair. Il y a cent ans, salles de gym&nbsp;\u00e9taient souvent situ\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re des bars. Les pousseurs de fonte ont toujours bu de la bi\u00e8re et pourtant, ils soulevaient. Les choses n\u2019ont pas beaucoup chang\u00e9. Aujourd&rsquo;hui, la boisson et le sport sont \u00e9troitement li\u00e9s, si on se r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 la fameuse <strong>3\u00b0 mi-temps<\/strong>. Les athl\u00e8tes de loisirs prennent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement une bi\u00e8re ou deux apr\u00e8s un match ou une comp\u00e9tition&nbsp;amicale. La plupart des \u00e9tudes montrent que les buveurs mod\u00e9r\u00e9s sont deux fois plus susceptibles&nbsp;de s\u2019entrainer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement que les non-buveurs.
