La densit\u00e9 de l\u2019air \u00e9tant plus faible, les alv\u00e9oles pulmonaires ont plus de difficult\u00e9 \u00e0 capter l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne pr\u00e9sent dans l\u2019air. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour compenser cette assimilation moins importante par les poumons, l\u2019organisme doit augmenter le transport de ce gaz dans les tissus. Le nombre de globules rouges \u00e9tant maintenu constant pendant quelques semaines apr\u00e8s le s\u00e9jour en altitude, l\u2019approvisionnement des tissus en oxyg\u00e8ne sera bien important et aura pour cons\u00e9quence <strong>une synth\u00e8se de l\u2019ATP nettement am\u00e9lior\u00e9e<\/strong> (compos\u00e9 responsable de la contraction musculaire). C&rsquo;est pour cette raison que les sportifs de haut niveau se pr\u00e9parent en altitude avant des comp\u00e9titions importantes, dans le but d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer leurs performances. Certains <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fitadium.com\/3-bcaa-acides-amines-essentiels\">acides amin\u00e9s<\/a><\/strong> comme la L-Alanine jouent \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le important dans l&rsquo;ATP, la contraction et l&rsquo;endurance musculaire.
