M\u00eame si depuis tout petit on vous a appris qu\u2019il fallait \u00e9viter de se couper la circulation, n\u2019en croyez rien. Cette technique de d\u00e9bit sanguin restreint appel\u00e9e&nbsp;BFR (ou Blood Flow restriction) a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 largement utilis\u00e9e en r\u00e9\u00e9ducation, lors d\u2019entrainement de musculation avec charges. La recherche montre qu\u2019une restriction du flux sanguin, (BFR) l\u00e9g\u00e8re et ma\u00eetris\u00e9e peut <a href=\"\/conseils\/programme-musculation-prise-masse\/\">favoriser des gains musculaires rapides<\/a> surtout si vous essayez de passer un cap. Des athl\u00e8tes de haut niveau auraient d\u2019ailleurs d\u00e9j\u00e0 utilis\u00e9 cette technique, notamment en r\u00e9\u00e9ducation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Une technique qui booste le volume<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On peut l\u2019utiliser pour les bras ou les jambes, en comprimant la circulation avec un brassard appropri\u00e9. Le fait d\u2019exercer une l\u00e9g\u00e8re pression temporaire sur les muscles \u2013 elle ne dure que quelques minutes- r\u00e9duit la circulation de retour et garde le sang dans les muscles.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"columns-quote is-\">\n  <div class=\"columns-quote__quote\">\n    <blockquote>Un gain de force sup\u00e9rieur de 10%<\/blockquote>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"columns-quote__body\">\n    \n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">\n\nUne \u00e9tude dans le <strong>Scandinavian Journal of Medicine and Science in Sports <\/strong>avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 montr\u00e9 que les sujets suivant un protocole de BFR + entrainement avaient outre des gains musculaires \u00e9quivalents au groupe de contr\u00f4le, des gains de force sup\u00e9rieurs de 10%. La fa\u00e7on dont le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 fonctionne n\u2019est pas toujours clair, mais il se trouve que \u00e7a marche, \u00e0 condition d\u2019aller \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chec ou avec de faibles charges. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n  <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>L&rsquo;imagerie par r\u00e9sonance magn\u00e9tique (IRM) a \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9e pour estimer le volume des muscles et l&rsquo;eau&nbsp;accumul\u00e9e dans le muscle du fait de l&rsquo;entrainement et l&rsquo;\u00e9chographie pour mesurer l&rsquo;\u00e9paisseur du muscle dans les 48H maxi qui ont suivi l&rsquo;entrainement. En effet la restriction du d\u00e9bit sanguin provoquerait un stress m\u00e9tabolique capable de d\u00e9clencher par r\u00e9action une adaptation rapide. Des chercheurs de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Loughborough au Royaume-Uni ont souhait\u00e9 \u00e9largir ce concept, en appliquant cette technique de limitation de flux sanguin aux muscles des jambes lors de s\u00e9ances d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement de sprint \u00e0 v\u00e9lo. Les sujets ont d\u00fb effectuer des sprints r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9s de 30 sec \u00e0 force maximale sur un v\u00e9lo stationnaire, suivi d\u2019un restriction de la circulation sanguine de la jambe apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;exercice, deux jours par semaine pendant quatre semaines. Ils ont montr\u00e9 une augmentation de la consommation maximale d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne, mais pas d\u2019am\u00e9lioration du temps sur 15 kilom\u00e8tres comparativement \u00e0 un groupe qui a pratiqu\u00e9 des intervalles sans restriction du flux sanguin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des biopsies musculaires ont montr\u00e9 que le flux sanguin apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;occlusion de l&rsquo;exercice a \u00e9galement montr\u00e9 l\u2019augmentation d\u2019un marqueur chimique, li\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;<strong>augmentation de la densit\u00e9 capillaire du muscle<\/strong>. C\u2019est une \u00e9tude potentiellement historique. Notons que cet essai s\u2019est limit\u00e9 \u00e0 effectuer 15 kilom\u00e8tres de piste sur un v\u00e9lo de route qui pourrait ne pas occasionner de changement en \u00e0 peine 4 semaines. &nbsp;Les changements survenus dans la consommation maximale d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne et les vaisseaux sanguins des muscles montrent que la restriction de la circulation sanguine apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;exercice est une<strong> technique d\u2019entrainement<\/strong> plus que viable, qui n&rsquo;est toutefois pas \u00e0 pratiquer \u00e0 la l\u00e9g\u00e8re sans l&rsquo;accompagnement d&rsquo;un coach exp\u00e9riment\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sources<\/strong>: Experimental Physiology, 101: 143-154, 2016, &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/26369387\">Short-term low-intensity blood flow restricted interval training improves both aerobic fitness and muscle strength<\/a>.
