Gordon Fisher du D\u00e9partement des \u00e9tudes humaines \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 d&rsquo;Alabama \u00e0 Birmingham a conclu que le HIIT et l&rsquo;exercice d&rsquo;endurance traditionnelle ont des effets similaires sur la capacit\u00e9 d\u2019a\u00e9robie, la composition corporelle, la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, la pression art\u00e9rielle et les lipides sanguins sur un groupe de 28 hommes s\u00e9dentaires et en surpoids, ayant pratiqu\u00e9 le HIIT ou l&rsquo;a\u00e9robic pendant une dur\u00e9e de 6 semaines. Jusque-l\u00e0 pas de surprise&nbsp;! Mais il y a une diff\u00e9rence de taille&nbsp;: alors que le HIIT consiste \u00e0 faire 4 s\u00e9ries de sprints de 30 secondes sur un v\u00e9lo stationnaire \u00e0 85% de la VO2max (effort maximal), l&rsquo;effort a\u00e9robie est constitu\u00e9 de 45 \u00e0 60 mn de v\u00e9lo compris entre 55 et 65% de l&rsquo;effort maximal. Et alors qu\u2019on y consacre beaucoup moins de temps, <strong>le HIIT produit les m\u00eames changements en quelques minutes par jour<\/strong> et au total une heure par semaine, que l\u2019effort a\u00e9robie pratiqu\u00e9 \u00e0 raison de plusieurs heures par semaine. Donc si vous manquez de temps et <strong><a href=\"\/56-bruleurs-de-graisse\">si vous avez du poids \u00e0 perdre<\/a>, vous perdrez davantage de graisse en pratiquant&nbsp;le HIIT<\/strong> m\u00eame avec une dur\u00e9e de pratique plus courte et avec moins d\u2019effort. Un b\u00e9mol toutefois si vous faites de la musculation et du HIIT au cours de la m\u00eame s\u00e9ance. L\u2019effort \u00e0 haute intensit\u00e9 am\u00e9liore bien la puissance, la capacit\u00e9 a\u00e9robie et l\u2019endurance, mais si vous voulez <strong>gagner de la force et de la masse musculaire<\/strong>, effectuer le HIIT avant la musculation ne serait pas une bonne id\u00e9e, selon des chercheurs br\u00e9siliens. En effet, la qualit\u00e9 de la s\u00e9ance d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement de musculation est essentielle pour la construction et la masse musculaire.
