Indirectement la consommation de l\u00e9gumes verts \u00e0 feuilles, comme les \u00e9pinards, les choux\u2026 aurait donc un effet sur les performances physiques.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Monoxyde d&rsquo;azote et performance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les nitrates&nbsp;deviennent progressivement des nitrites, puis du monoxyde d\u2019azote. La&nbsp;quantit\u00e9 de monoxyde d\u2019azote dans le sang peut <strong>favoriser la performance musculaire<\/strong>. Ce gaz joue&nbsp;un r\u00f4le de messager, dans la circulation sanguine et la contraction musculaire, et il est prouv\u00e9 qu&rsquo;en pr\u00e9sence de monoxyde d\u2019azote, les muscles utilisent&nbsp;moins d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne pour effectuer le m\u00eame effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Selon une \u00e9tude belge r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 Louvain, portant sur 27 vingt-sept participants s\u2019entrainant mod\u00e9r\u00e9ment, a montr\u00e9 que des suppl\u00e9ments \u00e0 base de nitrate ont influenc\u00e9 la performance, lors de trois&nbsp;s\u00e9ances de cyclisme par semaine, courtes mais intenses (Sprint interval training). La plupart des r\u00e9gimes alimentaires contiennent des aliments verts \u00e0 feuilles, riches en nitrates, lesquels sont importants pour le fonctionnement du corps humain pendant l&rsquo;exercice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En comparant l\u2019effet de l\u2019entrainement avec une oxyg\u00e9nation normale et dans des conditions avec de faibles niveaux d\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne (hypoxie), comme par exemple \u00e0 haute altitude, les conclusions de l\u2019\u00e9tude ont montr\u00e9 une am\u00e9lioration de la composition des fibres musculaires, notamment lors d\u2019entrainement en hypoxie, avec un apport de nitrates. Il est d\u2019ailleurs courant d\u2019envoyer des athl\u00e8tes professionnels&nbsp;s\u2019entrainer \u00e0 haute altitude pour <strong>am\u00e9liorer leurs performances<\/strong>, ce qui rend cette \u00e9tude particuli\u00e8rement utile pour les athl\u00e8tes de haut niveau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cela d\u00e9montre simplement qu\u2019il est facile d\u2019am\u00e9liorer ses performances avec une strat\u00e9gie nutritionnelle \u00e0 base de <strong><a href=\"\/8-preworkout\">suppl\u00e9ments de nitrates<\/a><\/strong>, en mobilisant un maximum de fibres musculaires lors d\u2019un <strong>entrainement intense<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour l\u2019instant il est difficile de dire si cette augmentation des fibres musculaires rapides am\u00e9liore vraiment la performance \u00e0 proprement parler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais avant de g\u00e9n\u00e9raliser la consommation de nitrates \u00e0 haute dose sous forme de suppl\u00e9ments, il reste \u00e0 v\u00e9rifier leur innocuit\u00e9.
