D\u2019apr\u00e8s des chercheurs danois et su\u00e9dois, les athl\u00e8tes auraient de nombreuses et puissantes cellules musculaires, \u00ab&nbsp;muscl\u00e9es&nbsp;\u00bb elles-aussi, &nbsp;leur permettant de s\u2019entrainer encore plus, et surtout les athl\u00e8tes d\u2019endurance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Les centrales d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie de notre corps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Car une \u00e9tude de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Danemark du Sud, parue dans le Journal of Physiology, vient de souligner que <strong>l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement d&rsquo;endurance<\/strong> augmente le nombre de mitochondries. Or ces cellules utilisent les nutriments et les d\u00e9gradent au cours du cycle de Krebs, en lib\u00e9rant de l\u2019\u00e9nergie sous forme d\u2019ATP. Les mitochondries produisent ainsi pr\u00e8s de 90% de l\u2019\u00e9nergie n\u00e9cessaire au fonctionnement des cellules. Or, plus ce nombre de cellules est \u00e9lev\u00e9, plus la production d\u2019\u00e9nergie l\u2019est aussi. On peut donc consid\u00e9rer que, si l\u2019entrainement est capable de faire varier ce quota, on ne nait donc pas avec un nombre de mitochondries donn\u00e9, mais on peut augmenter ce nombre gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Et plus encore, non seulement le type d\u2019entrainement influence le nombre de ces cellules, mais aussi leur taille et leur volume. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Les mitochondries des athl\u00e8tes auraient une structure diff\u00e9rente de ceux qui ne s\u2019entrainent pas et seraient capable de produire bien plus d\u2019\u00e9nergie (+25%)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Cette propri\u00e9t\u00e9 influence la capacit\u00e9 m\u00e9tabolique et le catabolisme du carburant qui s\u2019en trouvent am\u00e9lior\u00e9s, surtout pendant de longs exercices aux exigences \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On peut imaginer alors que l\u2019exercice r\u00e9p\u00e9t\u00e9 produit une sorte de \u00ab&nbsp;tuning&nbsp;\u00bb des cellules et les rend <strong>plus performantes<\/strong>. Ceci n\u2019est possible que si les mitochondries poss\u00e8dent une certaine plasticit\u00e9. Si elles sont capables de grossir et de se multiplier, cela nous rend <strong>plus r\u00e9sistants \u00e0 l\u2019effort<\/strong>. Et c\u2019est donc par la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 de l\u2019effort qu\u2019elles se d\u00e9veloppent et gagnent en densit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En comparant par biopsie les muscles de personnes entrain\u00e9es et non entrain\u00e9es, on a pu mettre en \u00e9vidence cette diff\u00e9rence de nombre et de taille. On peut donc \u00eatre <strong>ma\u00eetre de la qualit\u00e9 et densit\u00e9 des muscles.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En tout cas l\u2019entrainement est tout b\u00e9n\u00e9fice, car \u00ab&nbsp;<strong>les fibres musculaires les plus sollicit\u00e9es et entrain\u00e9es<\/strong> sont aussi celles qui pr\u00e9sentent les plus grands changements dans la structure mitochondriale&nbsp;\u00bb.
