Beaucoup d&rsquo;\u00e9pices poss\u00e8dent des effets antioxydants et anti-inflammatoires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les piments forts, par exemple, d\u00e9gradent les lipides (ils augmentent le catabolisme lipidique dans diff\u00e9rents organes et tissus), ce qui pourrait prot\u00e9ger contre l&rsquo;hypercholest\u00e9rol\u00e9mie et l&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9, r\u00e9duire les risques d&rsquo;hypertension, de diab\u00e8te de type 2 et de maladie cardiovasculaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En examinant les habitudes de 16&nbsp;179 participants am\u00e9ricains , il a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9 que ceux qui consommaient des piments rouges avaient une mortalit\u00e9 diminu\u00e9e 21,6% contre 33,6% pour ceux qui n\u2019en consommaient pas, jusqu\u2019\u00e0 obtenir une diminution de 13% apr\u00e8s ajustement des donn\u00e9es ( mode de vie, ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents m\u00e9dicaux).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une autre \u00e9tude chinoise en 2015 avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 mis en \u00e9vidence cette conclusion et ce sur un nombre participants encore plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 (500000 personnes).
