A morceau identique (filet) la viande de porc n\u2019est pas plus grasse que les autres viandes rouges et contient souvent plus de vitamine B12. Le fait que le porc soit \u00e0 la base des pr\u00e9parations charcuti\u00e8res entretient \u00e9galement ce mythe, car le saucisson est l&rsquo;ennemi des r\u00e9gimes,&nbsp; mais le jambon par contre est souvent recommand\u00e9 en collation. Hormis le fait qu\u2019elle ait besoin d\u2019\u00eatre davantage cuite, c\u2019est une excellente source de prot\u00e9ines , qui plus est, moins ch\u00e8re que le b\u0153uf.
