Rappelons que le diab\u00e8te est une \u00e9pid\u00e9mie en pleine expansion qui touche de nombreuses personnes dans le monde et qui ne cesse de progresser. Elle fait de plus en plus de victimes avec le cancer et les maladies cardiaques. Dans le cas du diab\u00e8te de type 2, lorsqu\u2019on devient r\u00e9sistant \u00e0 l\u2019insuline, les cellules responsables de l\u2019absorption du glucose ne r\u00e9pondent plus. Or cette hormone produite par le pancr\u00e9as est responsable de l\u2019entr\u00e9e du glucose dans les cellules du corps humain. Plus le taux de glucose sanguin est important, plus le pancr\u00e9as essaie de produire de l\u2019insuline. Tr\u00e8s vite, les cellules b\u00eata du pancr\u00e9as perdent en efficacit\u00e9 et ce r\u00e9gulateur de la glyc\u00e9mie ne peut plus jouer son r\u00f4le. Le diab\u00e8te s\u2019installe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Comme cette affection touche des millions de malades \u00e0 travers le monde, l\u2019enjeu est de taille pour faire baisser le nombre de malades trait\u00e9s par insuline.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Le HIIT contre le diab\u00e8te<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude scandinave provient de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Turku et a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9e dans le Scandinavian Journal of Medicine &amp; Science in Sports. Elle sugg\u00e8re qu\u2019<strong>un type d\u2019exercice particulier le HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training)<\/strong> aurait un effet positif chez les diab\u00e9tiques de type 2. En faisant pratiquer aux sujets diab\u00e9tiques ce type d\u2019exercice pendant 2 semaines, ils ont constat\u00e9 que le m\u00e9tabolisme du glucose avait augment\u00e9. La sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019insuline a \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La pratique de l\u2019exercice intense par intervalle<\/strong> consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser des s\u00e9ances courtes mais intenses avec un temps de r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration court. L\u2019effet sur le m\u00e9tabolisme&nbsp; est rapide m\u00eame chez ceux qui ne sont pas diab\u00e9tiques et repr\u00e9sentent un gain de temps. Les sujets \u00e2g\u00e9s de 40 \u00e0 60 ans souffrant de diab\u00e8te ou de pr\u00e9-diab\u00e8te ont \u00e9t\u00e9 soumis soit \u00e0 <strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/hiit-efficace-pour-perte-de-graisse\/\">un programme HIIT<\/a><\/strong>, soit \u00e0 un programme mod\u00e9r\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s 2 semaines et 6 s\u00e9ances, tout type d\u2019exercice a am\u00e9lior\u00e9 le m\u00e9tabolisme du glucose, mais la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019insuline diminue de 50% avec le groupe HIIT. C&rsquo;est la preuve que <strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/le-hiit-contre-la-glycemie\/\">la forme d\u2019exercice HIIT<\/a><\/strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/le-hiit-contre-la-glycemie\/\">&nbsp;<\/a><strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/le-hiit-contre-la-glycemie\/\">r\u00e9duit autant le taux de glyc\u00e9mie<\/a><\/strong> qu\u2019un m\u00e9dicament anti-diab\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019exercice fait donc partie de la th\u00e9rapie et devrait \u00eatre prescrit.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">R\u00e9duire les calories r\u00e9duit la glyc\u00e9mie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Par ailleurs, le professeur Roy Taylor de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Newcastle (UK) affirme qu\u2019un <strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/programme-alimentaire-seche-musculaire\/\">r\u00e9gime \u00e0 faible teneur en calories<\/a><\/strong> peut inverser les facteurs responsables de la maladie. Perdre moins d\u20191 g de graisse du pancr\u00e9as gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un r\u00e9gime alimentaire suffit \u00e0 \u00ab&nbsp;red\u00e9marrer&nbsp;\u00bb la production normale d&rsquo;insuline. Eventuellement, cela pourrait inverser le diab\u00e8te de type 2 et ce pendant au moins les 10 ann\u00e9es suivant le diagnostic. C\u2019est la seule solution pour \u00e9viter la prise de m\u00e9dicaments puis le passage \u00e0 l\u2019insuline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les causes du diab\u00e8te de type 2 sont l&rsquo;exc\u00e8s de graisse au sein du foie et du pancr\u00e9as. Cet exc\u00e8s provoque une mauvaise r\u00e9ponse du foie \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, le foie produisant alors trop de glucose. Cette r\u00e9mission n\u2019est possible qu\u2019avec <strong>un r\u00e9gime tr\u00e8s faible en calories. <\/strong>En 7 jours \u00e0 peine, il va provoquer une chute importante du taux de graisse dans le foie. Ainsi, il est possible de r\u00e9tablir la sensibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019insuline d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but du r\u00e9gime et normaliser la glyc\u00e9mie \u00e0 jeun. Au bout de 8 semaines, la graisse du pancr\u00e9as est r\u00e9duite. Les chercheurs pensent que chez l&rsquo;homme un tel <strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/jeune-intermittent-perte-poids\/\">r\u00e9gime de jeune intermittent<\/a><\/strong> pourrait avoir les m\u00eames effets. C&rsquo;est-\u00e0-dire : r\u00e9duire la r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, stabiliser le taux de glucose dans le sang, restaurer la production d&rsquo;insuline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Id\u00e9alement <strong>ce r\u00e9gime serait pauvre en calories<\/strong>, sucres et prot\u00e9ines, mais riche en bonnes graisses d\u2019origine v\u00e9g\u00e9tales. Sous forme de soupes de l\u00e9gumes, barres d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie, th\u00e9, vitamines, il ne d\u00e9passerait pas 770 \u00e0 1100 calories par jour. Il va \u00e0 l&rsquo;encontre des recommandations des nutritionnistes (2000 calories pour une femme et 2500 calories pour un homme).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est \u00e0 peu de choses pr\u00e8s le r\u00e9sultat obtenu en op\u00e9rant les patients ob\u00e8ses et en leur enlevant une partie de l\u2019estomac.
