On lui attribue des effets sur la force et la r\u00e9cup\u00e9ration. Elle intervient dans une des 3 fili\u00e8res \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques appel\u00e9e ana\u00e9robie alactique  (les 2 autres sont l&rsquo;ana\u00e9robie lactique et l&rsquo;a\u00e9robie alactique. C&rsquo;est une fili\u00e8re courte en temps quelques secondes qui va utiliser de la cr\u00e9atine phosphate (contre les sucres, ou les graisses pour les autres fili\u00e8res). Sa mauvaise r\u00e9putation ne se justifie pas, tout exc\u00e8s est dangereux. La source naturelle de cr\u00e9atine endog\u00e8ne est la viande rouge. La cr\u00e9atine exog\u00e8ne ce sont les compl\u00e9ments. Saturer les cellules en cr\u00e9atine augmente la force (resynth\u00e8se d&rsquo;ATP et retarde l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e de l&rsquo;acide lactique). L&rsquo;entrainement est plus intense et plus productif. Elle est donc conseill\u00e9e pour la performance musculaire (renforcement musculaire, gain de force, de masse et de volume musculaire) y compris en s\u00e8che. Par contre le d\u00e9butant n&rsquo;en a pas vraiment besoin. Acide, elle g\u00e9n\u00e8re des d\u00e9chets et peut fatiguer l&rsquo;organisme en exc\u00e8s. Elle se prend entre 3 et 5 g par jour, d&rsquo;abord, sous forme de cure qui charge les cellules et on entretient l&rsquo;apport apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;entrainement pour maintenir les niveaux (ou le matin les autres jours). On ne l&rsquo;utilise pas en continu mais lors de p\u00e9riodes de recherche de gain de force avec des interruptions de 4 \u00e0 6 semaines. Penser \u00e0 toujours boire beaucoup d&rsquo;eau pour faciliter l&rsquo;\u00e9limination des d\u00e9chets. Il existe diff\u00e9rentes formes plus ou moins assimilables et efficaces de cr\u00e9atine monohydrate : g\u00e9lules, poudres, effervescente.
