Or la Grande-Bretagne vient de publier un rapport \u00e9difiant \u00e0 ce sujet. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le vrai responsable de l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 ne serait pas l\u2019alimentation mais le manque d\u2019activit\u00e9 physique. Les d\u00e9fenseurs de la sant\u00e9 incriminent la malbouffe comme cause de l\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9mie d\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9. Or des chiffres montrent le contraire: la consommation par habitant de sucres et de graisses \u00e9tait en nette diminution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le rapport \u00ab The fat lie \u00bb indique malheureusement que, si les gens <strong><a href=\"\/conseils\/programme-alimentaire-seche-musculaire\/\">consomment en effet moins de calories<\/a>,<\/strong> ils ne \u00abbougent\u00bb pas autant qu\u2019avant. Christopher Snowdon, auteur du rapport, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9: \u00ab\u00a0La cause premi\u00e8re de la hausse des niveaux d&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 en Grande-Bretagne n&rsquo;est pas une augmentation de l&rsquo;apport calorique, mais une baisse de l&rsquo;<a href=\"\/conseils\/entrainement\/programme-musculation-fitness\/\"><strong>activit\u00e9 physique. <\/strong><\/a> Alors qu\u2019on montre chaque jour du doigt l\u2019ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 comme un fl\u00e9au de notre \u00e9poque, on n\u2019a sans doute pas pris conscience du r\u00f4le jou\u00e9 par la s\u00e9dentarit\u00e9 dans notre mode de vie. C&rsquo;est la faute \u00e0 la modernisation des transports et de nos m\u00e9tiers de moins en moins physiques.<br>\n<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">La faute au manque d&rsquo;exercice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>C\u2019est donc <a href=\"\/conseils\/entrainement\/exercices-musculation\/\"><strong>l\u2019exercice physique<\/strong><\/a> et l\u2019activit\u00e9 sportive qu\u2019il faut promouvoir en priorit\u00e9 pour corriger ce probl\u00e8me, sans se focaliser sur l\u2019exc\u00e9dent alimentaire. Nos a\u00een\u00e9s ne mangeaient-ils pas du gras et du sucre en abondance sans \u00eatre pour autant en surpoids ? Oui\u2026 mais ils allaient travailler aux champs, ou \u00e0 la mine et ils allaient \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9cole ou au travail \u00e0 pied\u2026. Ils ne prenaient pas l\u2019ascenseur\u2026 Mais, par contre, ces donn\u00e9es sont-elles peut-\u00eatre encore fauss\u00e9es. En effet, on consid\u00e8re que les gens ne connaissent pas pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment la <a href=\"\/conseils\/nutrition\/tables-alimentaires\/\"><strong>quantit\u00e9 de calories<\/strong><\/a> et de nourriture qu\u2019ils consomment chez eux et \u00e0 l\u2019ext\u00e9rieur. Notamment, ils n\u2019ont pas conscience des teneurs en sucres et graisses de plats pr\u00e9par\u00e9s, des plats consomm\u00e9s au restaurant. Ils n\u2019ont donc peut-\u00eatre pas l\u2019impression de manger davantage alors que c\u2019est bien entendu le cas par rapports aux ann\u00e9es ant\u00e9rieures.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-number\">Une tentative d&rsquo;explication en chiffres<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les chiffres : \u2022 Depuis 2002, le poids moyen des Britanniques a augment\u00e9 de 2 kg. Malgr\u00e9 une baisse de la consommation de calories de plus de 4% et une baisse de la consommation de sucre de pr\u00e8s de 7,5%. Selon eux, les calories consomm\u00e9es en dehors de leur foyer ont chut\u00e9 de 310 \u00e0 219 entre 2001 et 2012, soit pr\u00e8s de 100 calories de moins en 10 ans. Pourtant la masse corporelle continue d\u2019augmenter (+5 kg) depuis 1993. Les d\u00e9placements des Britanniques \u00e0 pied sont pass\u00e9s \u00e0 179 miles\/ an (environ 288 km) contre 255 miles en 1976 ( 410 km) , soit une diminution de 70% environ.
