D, s&rsquo;appuyant sur ces douzaines d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes men\u00e9es depuis plus de 25 ans, a lui-m\u00eame constat\u00e9 avec un programme d&rsquo;\u00e9tirements statiques de 15 mn, que 32% de ceux qui ne se sont pas \u00e9tir\u00e9s rapportent des courbatures au lendemain de l&rsquo;effort, contre 25% de ceux qui se sont \u00e9tir\u00e9s. D&rsquo;apr\u00e8s cette \u00e9tude, conduite au George Institute for Global Health de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Sydney, et publi\u00e9e dans le British Journal Of Sports Medicine, la vraie diff\u00e9rence viendrait de la perception que nous en avons mais au fond le confort d\u00fb aux \u00e9tirements serait vraiment moindre, si on le mesure sur une \u00e9chelle de 1 \u00e0 100, l&rsquo;am\u00e9lioration ne serait que d&rsquo;un demi point ! Ces \u00e9tudes n&rsquo;ont pas forc\u00e9ment \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es sur des groupes randomis\u00e9s en double aveugle. Or, si on emp\u00eache des habitu\u00e9s des \u00e9tirements de s&rsquo;\u00e9tirer, ils se sentiront moins bien, et inversement, si on oblige des r\u00e9fractaires aux \u00e9tirements \u00e0 s&rsquo;\u00e9tirer, ils ne ressentiront pas les bienfaits.<br>D&rsquo;o\u00f9 la difficult\u00e9 de r\u00e9ellement savoir si les \u00e9tirements sont efficaces au terme de ces \u00e9tudes.
