Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 test\u00e9s jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9puisement sur <strong>tapis de course&nbsp;<\/strong>au moment du recrutement, et ont \u00e9galement subi des tests cognitifs \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode. Puis, 25 ans plus tard, leurs capacit\u00e9s cognitives, m\u00e9moire, vitesse psychomotrice, fonctions ex\u00e9cutives ont \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0 nouveau mesur\u00e9es. Or un <strong>meilleur rendement de leurs capacit\u00e9s cognitives<\/strong> a \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9 chez les sujets ayant les meilleures capacit\u00e9s cardio-vasculaires dans leurs jeunes ann\u00e9es, par rapport \u00e0 des sujets moins entrain\u00e9s. La m\u00e9moire verbale ainsi que la vitesse psychomotrice entre 43 et 55 ans \u00e9tait li\u00e9e aux performances cardio 25 ans plus t\u00f4t.
