La voie mTOR est une voie de signalisation bas\u00e9e sur une prot\u00e9ine messag\u00e8re qui va r\u00e9guler la croissance et l\u2019\u00e9quilibre des cellules. La <a href=\"\/4-proteines\"><strong>prot\u00e9ine<\/strong><\/a> messag\u00e8re cod\u00e9e avec 16 acides amin\u00e9s, permet l\u2019adaptation du milieu aux contraintes qu\u2019il subit, g\u00e9rant ainsi la synth\u00e8se des prot\u00e9ines musculaire, les \u00e9changes nutritifs intra cellulaires, la division cellulaire voire dans certains cas l\u2019expression et la transcription de certains g\u00e8nes.<br>\r\nLes hormones (testost\u00e9rone, insuline, GH) et autres facteurs de croissance (IGF1, IGF2, mitog\u00e8nes) agissent \u00e9galement sur la voie mTOR pour d\u00e9clencher la croissance des cellules de l\u2019organisme depuis la naissance jusqu\u2019\u00e0 la mort.
