Mais selon une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e dans le Journal of Clinical Endocrinology &amp; Metabolism, la masse musculaire d&rsquo;un individu d\u00e9termine ses risques de d\u00e9velopper un diab\u00e8te.<br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Augmenter les muscles, diminuer les risques<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce fait est int\u00e9ressant dans la mesure o\u00f9 le diab\u00e8te est une maladie en constante hausse, due \u00e0 notre alimentation trop sucr\u00e9e et abondante. Le fait d&rsquo;avoir une plus importante masse musculaire emp\u00eacherait de souffrir de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, dont le principal sympt\u00f4me et de faire monter anormalement le niveau de glucose dans le sang. Ce facteur entra\u00eene une pr\u00e9disposition au diab\u00e8te.<br> L&rsquo;inverse avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9montr\u00e9 avec une corr\u00e9lation certaine entre une faible masse musculaire et le facteur de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline, mais cette \u00e9tude \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle portant sur plus de 13000 personnes, prouve bien qu&rsquo;<a href=\"\/76-prendre-de-la-masse\"><strong>augmenter sa masse musculaire<\/strong><\/a> diminue sensiblement le risque.<br> Selon le Dr Preethi Srikanthan de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Californie, cette \u00e9tude promet bien plus qu&rsquo;un avantage sant\u00e9 pour les personnes en surpoids qui ont du mal \u00e0 se motiver pour faire du sport, car s&rsquo;entrainer pour rester en forme va modifier leur m\u00e9tabolisme.
