Chez le d\u00e9butant, par exemple, le gain de force ne va pas se traduire d\u00e8s le d\u00e9but par des muscles plus gros, mais par une plus grande mobilisation des fibres musculaires d\u00e9j\u00e0 existantes. Selon le type d&rsquo;entra\u00eenement effectu\u00e9, le progr\u00e8s sera plus ou moins visible et on aura alors l&rsquo;impression que force et volume ne sont pas associ\u00e9s. L&rsquo;entra\u00eenement intensif permet donc dans un premier temps de gagner principalement de la force, en utilisant toujours plus de fibres lors de la contraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais pour gagner en force, un muscle va aussi augmenter son volume, car cette hypertrophie est justement la r\u00e9ponse au stress impos\u00e9 par l&rsquo;entra\u00eenement.
