Si un steak vous laisse indiff\u00e9rent, peut-\u00eatre serez-vous l\u2019homme de demain. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enclins \u00e0 abandonner le r\u00e9gime viande ?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En effet, la surproduction de viande due \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9levage intensif est source de pollution et s\u2019oppose au d\u00e9veloppement durable. Ceci tendrait \u00e0 prouver que des facteurs culturels pr\u00f4nant le r\u00e9gime \u00e0 forte consommation de viande peuvent \u00eatre nuisibles \u00e0 l\u2019environnement et devraient \u00eatre modifi\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019avenir. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ces facteurs d\u00e9pendent de l\u2019origine des populations chez qui la consommation de viande est tr\u00e8s ancr\u00e9e culturellement. Par exemple, cette \u00e9tude r\u00e9alis\u00e9e aux Pays-Bas, portant sur un millier d\u2019hommes et femmes \u00e2g\u00e9s de 18 \u00e0 35 ans, montre que les n\u00e9erlandais de souche sont moins enclins \u00e0 abandonner le r\u00e9gime viande, contrairement aux immigrants chinois et turcs de deuxi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. En effet dans ces cultures, les substituts de viande existent d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans les repas traditionnels sans remettre en cause la masculinit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les Chinois consomment en effet depuis longtemps du tofu, seitan et du tempeh, les Turcs quant \u00e0 eux sont friands de pois chiches, lentilles et autres l\u00e9gumineuses, ce qui leur permet de <a href=\"\/4-proteines\"><strong>varier et multiplier les sources de prot\u00e9ines<\/strong><\/a>, alors que les N\u00e9erlandais concentrent tous leurs efforts sur un plat principal \u00e0 base de viande, accompagn\u00e9 de l\u00e9gumes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Demain, les hommes devront, sans doute, revoir \u00e0 la baisse leur consommation de viande rouge et mesurer autrement leur virilit\u00e9.
