Type II Collagen (180 capsules) from Yam Nutrition is a dietary supplement made with OmniCol™ bovine collagen hydrolysate, enriched with vitamin C, designed to easily fit into your daily routine—especially if you regularly engage in physical activity that puts strain on your joints.
Each daily dose of 6 capsules provides 3,500 mg of OmniCol™ hydrolyzed collagen. This patented ingredient consists of collagen peptides derived from a bovine source. Yam Nutrition specifically positions this product as a source of Type II collagen, which is naturally present in significant quantities in joint cartilage.
The formula is supplemented with 100 mg of vitamin C per serving, which is 125% of the Reference Intake. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation to ensure the normal function of cartilage and bones, making it a supplement that is particularly well-suited to the presence of collagen in the formula.
The ingredient list is intentionally short: OmniCol™ bovine collagen hydrolysate, ascorbic acid, and bovine gelatin. The capsule format allows for a precise daily dose without the need to measure or mix powder.
