Lactase Enzyme (100 Caps) is a dietary supplement in capsule form from Scitec Nutrition.
Lactase is an enzyme naturally produced in large quantities up to the age of 6, when the main source of nutrition is milk. Thereafter, the body naturally loses the ability to produce it as the diet diversifies. Indeed, humans are the only "mammals" that continue to consume milk after weaning.
Lactose intolerance can be particularly annoying if you're involved in sporting activities and have chosen to supplement your diet with protein powders. Because even if current whey protein manufacturing processes eliminate almost all lactose, the remaining traces can cause severe metabolic reactions in some lactose-intolerant people, and digestive discomfort in those who consume large quantities (bloating, gas, slow digestion, diarrhoea...).
Through telephone calls and written messages with our coaches and nutritionists, we've noticed that more and more people are experiencing these inconveniences and discomforts, so we've decided to offer a supplement to help you avoid them in the future: Lactase Enzyme from Scitec Nutrition
1 dose of Lactase Enzyme in capsule form enables you to digest around 20 g of lactose (equivalent to 400 ml of whole milk), which will more than cover your daily requirements for digesting several shakers of milk protein.
You'll then be able to consume your whey proteins without a hitch, and without experiencing any unpleasant effects on digestion!
Net weight : 35 gTake 1 capsule a day before or with a meal, including dairy products, or with a whey or casein shaker, for example.
