Collagen bar (44g ) is a collagen-based protein bar made by the brand Olimp Sport Nutrition.
Collagen is a protein found naturally in the human body. It helps maintain the structure and firmness of tissues such as skin, bones, muscles, joints, tendons, ligaments and organs. As we age, the body's capacity to produce collagen gradually diminishes. As a sportsman or sportswoman, the absence of collagen can be problematic, as the joints are subject to a great deal of stress, which can damage them.
With 5 g of high-quality fish collagen, fully assimilable thanks to ECOllagen®, this is type I collagen, constituting almost 90% of the predominant elements in the body's connective tissues, skin and subcutaneous tissues. Collagen bar supports the normal production of collagen to ensure the proper functioning of skin and cartilage.
Collagen bar helps maintain and increase muscle mass by providing 8g of protein per bar. The bar is made from vegetable proteins derived from soy, peas and brown rice. It also contains vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin A, biotin and manganese. With these vitamins, this protein bar helps you maintain healthy skin (vitamin A, biotin) and healthy hair (biotin). These vitamins also help protect cells against oxidative stress (vitamin C, manganese).
These bars are very low in sugar and calories, with only 172 kcal per bar. They're perfect for dieters and leaners alike! They're an excellent alternative to sweets.
Collagen bar is available in chocolate flavor, with a 100% chocolate coating and crunchy chips.
