Aquamin Calcium: Your Calcium in a Drink
Aquamin Calcium by BioTech USA is a powdered dietary supplement designed to be mixed with water. Each 8-gram serving provides 250 mg of calcium, which is 31% of the Nutrient Reference Values (NRVs). Instead of taking yet another pill, you can prepare a tangy drink to enjoy throughout the day. The 240-gram jar contains 30 servings.
Two Sources of Calcium
The calcium in Aquamin Calcium comes from two ingredients:
- 200 mg come fromAquamin F, a red seaweed powder (Lithothamnion sp.) rich in calcium carbonate;
- 50 mg come from calcium salts of citric acid (calcium citrate).
The roles of calcium
Calcium:

A refreshing beverage with no added sugars
The flavor combines lemongrass, lime (2.5% lime powder), and a hint of matcha green tea (1%). The drink is sweetened with stevia (steviol glycosides) and contains no added sugars. According to the manufacturer, it is vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free.
