The new Snickers Protein Bar contains just over 230 calories and 15 to 22g of protein , depending on the flavor. It has the nutritional profile of a protein bar without losing the authentic taste of your favorite treat. Snickers Protein Bar is known for its famous taste combining peanuts, caramel and chocolate with soft nougatine in the center.
Its diet version has achieved the feat of being low in calories while retaining its legendary taste and texture.
Snickers Protein Bar has been developed by Mars from a high-quality protein blend, combining whey protein isolate with milk protein isolate to deliver a steady stream of amino acids to your muscles, effectively supporting muscle mass gain while limiting catabolism.
It's a great achievement, because the melting caramel, peanuts and gourmet chocolate don't make you lose sight of the nutritional value and energy! Not only does each Snickers Protein Bar provide its share of protein, but also of energy, with around twenty grams of carbohydrates, of which only ten grams come from sugars. The peanuts in the original bar also have the advantage of providing good fatty acids (8-9g) essential for supporting the hormonal system, a good ratio for only 3g of saturated fatty acids.
However, like all other bars in general (except Diet Whey bars from PhD), these bars are not recommended for weight-loss diets, as we all know that if you want to reach your goal, you need to be careful with your sugar intake.
