Lion's mane (60 caps) is a dietary supplement manufactured by the brand Olimp Sport Nutrition.

It contains extract of hydne hedgehog (or lion's mane), also known as Hericium erinaceus, a mushroom that has been rooted in Asian culture and traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, and is even prized by the Buddhist community. As an adaptogenic mushroom, it is reputed to enhance the body's ability to adapt to adverse environmental conditions.

Olimp Sport Nutrition has selected a specific quantity of the active substance beta-glucans, components found in plant cell walls, mainly in cereals (oats and barley), yeasts and adaptogenic fungi. Chemically, beta-glucans are long-chain glucose polymers linked in a linear or branched fashion by ß-type glycosidic bonds. Those derived from mushrooms, such as those contained in Lion's Mane, are known to stimulate the immune system and possess antioxidant properties linked to their ability to neutralize free radicals.

Olimp Lion's Mane Mushroom dietary supplement is standardized to at least 25% beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucans, guaranteeing a consistent and reproducible content of the active ingredient in every production batch. Each capsule of the product therefore contains at least 125 mg beta-1,3/1,6-D-glucans.
