Opti Vegan (900 g) from Yam Nutrition is a plant-based protein that combines pea protein isolate and rice protein isolate, designed as an alternative to dairy proteins. Its 100% vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free formula is available in three flavors: Chocolate, Strawberry, and Vanilla Caramel.

The combination of peas and rice brings together two complementary plant-based sources. Depending on the flavor, Opti Vegan provides between 71.3 and 73.4 g of protein per 100 g, or approximately 35.7 to 36.7 g of protein per 50 g serving . Protein helps build and maintain muscle mass, making it easy to incorporate Opti Vegan into a plant-based sports diet.

The formula is also enriched with several amino acids. Each 50-gram serving provides 425 mg of L-tryptophan, 250 mg of L-methionine, and 250 mg of added 2:1:1 BCAAs, including 125 mg of L-leucine, 62.5 mg of L-valine, and 62.5 mg of L-isoleucine.

These amino acids complement those naturally present in pea and rice proteins. Yam Nutrition also adds 75 mg of DigeZyme® per serving, an enzyme complex containing amylase, protease, lactase, cellulase, and lipase, among others .

The formula thus maintains a plant-based composition while offering a unique feature compared to a traditional plant-based protein. Depending on the flavor, a 50-gram serving provides approximately 187 to 188.5 kcal, only 0.1 g of sugars, and 5.7 g of carbohydrates.
