Recovery Gel: Carbohydrates and Amino Acids in a Single Packet

BioTech USA’s Recovery Gel is a 40-gram, ready-to-eat gel that requires no water and contains more than just carbohydrates. It combines carbohydrates, hydrolyzed protein, and several amino acids with magnesium and vitamin B5. The box contains 12 gels.

Carbohydrates from three sources

Each gel provides approximately 11.5 g of carbohydrates:

• 4 g of maltodextrin;
• 3.7 g of glucose;
• 3.7 g of fructose.

Hydrolyzed proteins and amino acids

Each gel also contains:

• 1,333 mg of hydrolyzed protein;
• 267 mg of BCAAs: 133 mg of L-leucine, 67 mg of L-isoleucine, and 67 mg of L-valine (2:1:1 ratio);
• 267 mg of L-glutamine;
• 267 mg of L-lysine.

The formula also contains glucosamine (53 mg) and inositol (53 mg).

Magnesium and Vitamin B5

Each gel provides 60 mg of magnesium (16% of the NRVs) and 4 mg of vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid (67% of the NRVs).

• Magnesium helps reduce fatigue, maintain electrolyte balance, and support normal muscle function.
• Vitamin B5 helps reduce fatigue and supports normal energy metabolism.
