The Cereal Energy Bar (35g ) is made by the French brand Apurna.
This energy bar has been designed to give you energy and stamina before, during and after exercise. To anticipate fatigue and boost your energy, your body needs a number of nutrients.
The first of these is carbohydrates, with 20 g of carbohydrates, enabling you to maintain your glucose levels without drawing on your reserves (muscles and liver) and thus prolonging your effort.
Vitamins and minerals are also essential for maintaining and increasing your energy, with 0.39 mg vitamin B1, 50.9 mg sodium, 78.16 mg magnesium and 1.9 mg zinc. Vitamin B1 contributes to normal energy metabolism, zinc helps combat oxidative stress, magnesium helps reduce fatigue and sodium contributes to the proper distribution of water in the body.
This bar is very complete, providing 5.5 g of protein to help maintain muscle mass. It contains 131 kcal per bar, which is very low.
As well as providing a wealth of nutrients, this bar is very tasty, with cereals combined with hazelnut chocolate chips!
