Hydro RAZAN® Optipep® (700 g) by Yamamoto Nutrition is a hydrolyzed whey protein designed to help you easily increase your protein intake around your workouts. Each 30 g serving provides 23 g of protein, which helps build and maintain muscle mass.

Its formula is based on the Carbery Optipep® 90 DH4 raw material, a hydrolyzed whey protein that is Grass-Fed™ certified. Enzymatic hydrolysis breaks down the proteins into shorter peptides, which sets Hydro RAZAN® apart from traditional whey concentrates or isolates.

Yamamoto specifically notes that its raw material contains 18% peptides with a molecular weight of less than 1,000 daltons. With 23 g of protein for just 103 kcal per shaker, depending on the flavor.

One serving provides just 1.3 g of carbohydrates, 0.5 g of sugars, and 0.6 g of fat, allowing you to increase your protein intake while easily managing the rest of your macros. The formula also provides 0.42 mg of vitamin B6 per serving, which is 30% of the Daily Value.

Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal metabolism of protein and glycogen and helps reduce fatigue—two benefits that are particularly valuable as part of a regular exercise routine. The formula also contains lactase and bromelain.
