Hydro RAZAN® Optipep® (2 kg) by Yamamoto Nutrition is a hydrolyzed whey protein designed to help you effectively supplement your protein intake throughout your workout routine. Each 30-g serving provides 23 g of protein, which helps build and maintain muscle mass.

Its unique feature lies in the Carbery Optipep® 90 DH4 raw material, a Grass-Fed™-certified hydrolyzed whey protein. Unlike conventional whey, which consists of whole protein chains, enzymatic hydrolysis breaks down the proteins into shorter peptides.

Yamamoto notes in particular that the raw material contains 18% peptides with a molecular weight of less than 1,000 daltons, which gives Hydro RAZAN® its highly technical positioning. With 23 g of protein for just 103 kcal per shaker of the Cookie & Gianduja flavor, the formula maintains a light nutritional profile: 1.3 g of carbohydrates, 0.5 g of sugars, and 0.6 g of fat per serving.

This means you can easily increase your protein intake without adding large amounts of carbohydrates or fats to your daily diet. Hydro RAZAN® isn’t limited to hydrolyzed whey. The formula is also supplemented with 30 mg of lactase, 30 mg of bromelain, and 30 mg of papaya extract per serving, as well as a blend of several lactic acid bacteria.

Yamamoto also adds 0.42 mg of vitamin B6, which is 30% of the reference intake. Vitamin B6 contributes to the normal metabolism of protein and glycogen and also helps reduce fatigue, which complements this whey’s sports-focused positioning particularly well.
