Muscles are made up of proteins, which in turn are made up of amino acids. Some of these are essential and cannot be manufactured by the body. BCAAs are made up of three essential amino acids: L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine, which help build muscle tissue. BCAAs also stimulate insulin production and promote glycogen storage, the main source of energy for your muscles. By stimulating protein synthesis and preventing protein breakdown, Essential Amino Energy 's combination of amino acids and BCAAs provides an optimal anabolic environment.
The main amino acids involved in protein synthesis and the maintenance of muscle mass. Leucine and lysine help build muscle, while histidine is involved in muscle repair, arginine in congestion, taurine has an energizing effect, tyrosine helps resist stress and glutamine repels fatigue, while beta-alanine reduces muscle soreness. What's more, caffeine improves concentration and alertness, making your workouts more productive. The formula also includes vitamin C (24mg), which contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system.
