L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid, meaning that the body is able to manufacture it in very small quantities. It is also found in certain foods such as bananas, avocados and protein-rich foods (meat, dairy products, eggs, etc.).
Biotech USA offers L-Tyrosine (100 caps), a dietary supplement containing 1000 mg l-tyrosine per dose, plus 100 µg iodine to support the natural production of l-tyrosine.
Iodine intake can contribute to normal cognitive function, normal energy metabolism, normal nervous system function and normal thyroid hormone production.
This supplement helps support the synthesis of dopamine, the "pleasure and reward hormone", adrenalin and thyroid hormones to regulate metabolism and play a positive role in mood, concentration, alertness and weight control.
