GlycoBol® Cluster Dextrin™ (500 g) by Yamamoto Nutrition is a carbohydrate powder made from highly branched Cluster Dextrin® cyclodextrins, designed to easily supplement your energy intake around your workout.

Each 30-gram serving provides 29 grams of carbohydrates for just 114 kcal, with no added sugars. Its unique feature is the use of Cluster Dextrin®, a highly branched cyclic dextrin derived from starch. Yamamoto highlights its very low osmolarity and rapid gastric emptying, two features that are particularly beneficial when you want to consume carbohydrates during physical activity without unnecessarily weighing down your drink.

Carbohydrates play a key role in restoring normal muscle function after very intense and/or prolonged physical exercise that has led to muscle fatigue and a depletion of glycogen stores. This effect is achieved with a total carbohydrate intake of 4 g per kg of body weight, consumed in several doses during the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours after exercise.

The formula is particularly simple: it is based primarily on highly branched Cluster Dextrin® cyclodextrins, to which the necessary ingredients are added to create the flavored versions. The Lemon flavor contains, in particular, a flavoring, sucralose, acesulfame K, and beta-carotene.
