Das 100% Pure Whey von BioTech USA (2,27 kg) mit Süßstoff ist ein sehr interessantes Proteinpulver, da es 22g Protein pro 28g Dosis liefert, was einem Proteingehalt von über 78% entspricht. Es enthält außerdem 6g BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acid), die bei der Erholung helfen und eine Rolle für das Muskelvolumen spielen.
Whey-Protein wird aus Molkeproteinen gewonnen. Die 100% Pure Whey-Formel enthält sowohl Konzentrat, die häufigste Form von Whey, als auch Isolat, das weniger Zucker und Fette enthält. Eine Portion enthält nur 1,1 g Zucker und 1,1 g gesättigte Fettsäuren.
Es ist außerdem mit L-Glutamin und L-Arginin angereichert, zwei nicht-essentiellen bzw. semi-essentiellen Aminosäuren, die am Muskelwachstum und an der Produktion von Stickstoffmonoxid (NO) beteiligt sind.
