Kre-ALKALYN® Performance (120 capsules) by Yamamoto Nutrition is a pre-workout supplement that combines Kre-Alkalyn® buffered creatine monohydrate, L-tyrosine, caffeine, and extracts of cacao and green coffee.

Its main advantage is its particularly simple dosage: a single capsule per day provides all of these active ingredients. Each capsule contains 500 mg of Kre-Alkalyn® pH Corrected® buffered creatine monohydrate, equivalent to 440 mg of creatine.

Kre-Alkalyn® is a patented, pH-adjusted form of creatine monohydrate, used here as the foundation of Yamamoto’s sports formula. The formula is rounded out with 200 mg of L-tyrosine, an amino acid commonly found in pre-workout formulas.

Each capsule also contains 60 mg of anhydrous caffeine, which adds a stimulating effect to the formula while remaining significantly lower than many pre-workout supplements with very high caffeine content. Yamamoto also includes 65 mg of cocoa extract, standardized to 6% theobromine, which amounts to 3.9 mg per serving.

This extract is combined with 60 mg of green coffee standardized to 70% chlorogenic acid, providing 42 mg of chlorogenic acid. You thus benefit from a formula that doesn’t rely solely on creatine but combines multiple ingredients in a single capsule.
