Protein Coffee: Your Coffee and Protein in the Same Cup

BioTech USA ’s Protein Coffee combines instant Arabica coffee and whey protein. One cup provides 21 g of protein and 74 mg of caffeine, for 115 kcal. The 450 g jar contains 15 servings. Protein helps build and maintain muscle mass.

A whey protein you can drink hot

Unlike most protein powders, Protein Coffee is meant to be enjoyed hot, just like real coffee. To prepare it:

• mix 30 g of powder into 200 ml of water, then heat for 1 minute in the microwave (750 W) until it reaches about 60 °C;
• or bring the water to a boil, let it cool for 4 minutes, then add the powder.

Thanks to the skim milk powder in the recipe, you’ll get a café au lait-style drink, with no need to add cream or sugar. You can also make it ahead of time and take it with you in a thermos.
