GU Energy Gels (32g) have been created for people who train regularly and enjoy endurance-type competitions.
Each 32g gel provides 100kcal for a total of 22g of carbohydrates. The energy-rich preparation comes in a portable, easy-to-carry format, designed to support the energy demands of any duration or activity.
Each sachet features a dual source of carbohydrates: maltodextrin and fructose, which help maximize carbohydrate absorption and utilization while improving digestion.
The GU Energy Gel formula also contains electrolytes essential for the proper functioning of the body, nervous system and muscles, such as sodium, one of the most important yet widely excreted in perspiration.
They also contain branched-chain amino acids (leucine, valine, isoleucine) which help reduce fatigue and lessen muscle damage.
