Energy Gel (37g) is an energy gel manufactured by Mule Bar.
This gel has been specially designed to support muscular activity during long-duration training sessions. It is made from natural ingredients such as fruit, coffee and caramel.
Each gel contains up to 114 kcal and 25 g of sugars, depending on flavor.
Its practical format makes it easy to take with you on your running or cycling sessions, and especially to consume in the middle of a race or training session! This gel is ideal for all endurance sports requiring fast, prolonged energy. What's more, its texture is very fluid.
This gel is certified vegan and gluten-free.
Available in three flavors: Coffee, Salted Caramel and Cherry.
Net weight : 37 gWe advise you to take 1 tube of gel every 45 minutes during exercise (to provide 30g of carbohydrates per hour for efforts of less than 3 hours) at a rate of a third of a tube every 1/4 hour. The gel is resealable, so you don't need to consume it all at once. That's too much sugar, which can have a counter-productive effect during exercise (hypo-reaction, cotton legs...). A regular intake is better than the "yo-yo effect".
Remember to hydrate regularly after each intake to remove the sugar from your mouth. Count on about 500ml of water per hour. If you wait until you're thirsty to drink, it'll be too late. In addition to regular physical activity, it's advisable to maintain a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
