GU Energie's Roctane Energy Gel (32 g ) differs from its classic Gu Energy Gel.
GU Roctane Gels have been designed to provide nutritional support during prolonged exercise. As a result, GU Roctane Gels are particularly beneficial during exercise that will require extra recovery time, help prevent fatigue, increase concentration, and reduce perceived exertion. That's why each ingredient in the product has a very specific function that gives it ideal properties for the athlete, combining energy, efficiency and flavor.
This product contains more sodium, anelectrolyte that helps hydration. Sodium is the main electrolyte lost in sweat, and increasing sodium intake can help prevent cramps.
It also contains more branched-chain amino acids (leucine, valine and isoleucine) to help reduce mental fatigue and muscle damage. This product is also different in that it contains caffeine (depending on the flavor) to stimulate the body.
Each 100-caloriesachet contains carbohydrates to fuel the body and delay the onset of fatigue. It also has the added advantage of being a source of antioxidants, thanks to the amino acid beta-alanine, which helps to form carnosine (a powerful antioxidant).
It is advisable to use two products that help provide all possible nutritional benefits to athletes who demand the best from themselves and their nutrition.
